Sri Lanka has no Political will - Bruce Haigh


In Sri Lanka there is neither the political will nor common compassion to meet Tamil aspirations for the future. It is incredibly difficult to say that Tamils have a realistic chance at equality in that country. The task for the Tamils of the moment is to commit wholeheartedly to an image change, and project that new image together with the justice of the cause to Australian society and the international community, says former Deputy High Commissioner at the Australian High Commission for Sri Lanka Bruce Douglas Haigh, in an exclusive interview to eelanation.com.
